Your nokia CDMA 6585 can be used as modem for your laptop …

It’s very easy ..

You must have Nokia Cable Data DKU-5 , Modem Driver Nokia and Nokia CDMA 6585 or 6225 or 3105

Installation Step

Cable Data DKU-5 for Nokia:

1. Connect PC/notebook by using cable data (DKU-5)
2. On the PC or notebook will show window Found Hardware Wizard, than choose : Install From a List or Specific Location (Advanced), than click next
3. Give checkmark on the sentence box : Include This Location in The Search
4. Click Browse,find folder where driver is saved on PC, click OK dan Next
5. On the new window click continue anyway
6. Click Finish
7. On window will show up Found Harware Wizard, repeat 2 untill 7

Installation Driver Modem Nokia

Just Download Modem Driver for Nokia (nmpCDMA2000_1x.inf).

1. Choose : Program > Control Panel > Phone and Modem Options
2. Choose : tab Modem, click Add
3. Check : “Dont’ detect my modem”
4. Choose : “Have Disk”
5. After asked, find lokation where you keep nmpCDMA2000_1x.inf which you have download, click OK
6. Choose “3G packet Modem”
7. Choose biggest Port (don’t choose all ports)
8. Modem Nokia have been installed in your computer
9. Make New Internet Connection by choosing Nokia 3G packet data as modem
